I'm from California and I was visiting family in Clarksville beautiful place by the way. I happen to see the Cracker Barrel Old Country Store Restaurant. So I had to go and try the breakfast and I'm glad I did because I haven't had breakfast that good in a very long time. But I did go in there thinking I would be able to see a variety of Cracker Barrel cheese but I did not know that the two were different but still have the same name. But I will tell you the Service the People and the Food made up for that. I don't remember our server's name but she did assure me that the food would make me forget about the cheese and it did.
It was the first time I ever wen to a Cracker Barrel, and I absolutely loved it!! Great place to bring a date, family, and / or friends. They have a wonderful store filled with variety for all ages that you get to walk through while you wait to be seated, there's a homemade fire, and great prizes and portions! It's been a month since I've been, and I not only miss the place but I recommend it to everyone!
There is a shopping area that has all kinds of nick knacks like decorations, toys, clothes, candy, candles, CDs, etc. Cracker Barrel also sells hand made rocking chairs that are pretty nice but also pretty pricey.
The service is always friendly but they are usually jam packed here so depending on the time of day you might have a wait.
It has an extensive breakfast menu that can be ordered from all times of the day. They have specials every day of the week that change depending on the day.
This place has pretty good comfort food. The menu is all southern foods like dumplings, chicken fried chicken, meatloaf, etc..
On Saturday December 23rd at or around 10AM, 35 minutes to be seated, 10 minutes to get drinks ordered, 30 minutes to get breakfast served after the order was taken! But that is Cracker Barrel! Good food, not that expensive, a lot of people and competent staff making their best to fulfill customers demands!
How could you ever go wrong with cracker barrel. Food is good. Price is Right. If you need goodies great store to shop at. Also they give military discount
