They make their employees come into work sick. I realize to most people, this may not be a big deal. But to people with a compromised immune system, it can be deadly. It's so much more than just the sniffles. And not only do they make them come into work sick, they let them handle your food with no gloves, mask, or hand sanitizer. I'm sorry, but this just isn't okay. If you are going to have employees coming in with the flu, you need to have them put on a mask, or working away from the public. NOT touching their food and coughing all over it.
This is kind of a stupid issue but I come here every now and then and love shooping here. I always go to the cookies section where you guys have the samples and always ask for one- never had an attitude from any ladies over in that department until today. I went to ask for a cookie 2 days ago and the lady gave me 2 but with this face that I almost give them back to her. Went today and the same lady, when I asked for a cookie, she said “oh it is just for the kids”. There were like 20 cookies inside the plastic case. I guess she pays for the ingredients.
Among the chaos of shopping for thanksgiving, this place was the most peaceful and had everything I couldn’t find anywhere else. It’s cute, colorful, and the staff was friendly and helpful.
Although this is a great place to shop the prices are high. The meat quality is on par with top-notch locations but a better deal can be found at the commissary. The parking is okay the people are staffed appropriately the service is above par. There are cakes are expensive but on par with the market. About a cake here communicated effectively which cake I wanted and style and they messed it up. I reiterated three times the exact Style through pictures and vocalizing my ideas. The final product was nowhere near what I was looking for.
They have the best Chicago hard rolls! Usually I come here for it! The products are very fresh and the quality is excellent l! There is some good deals here but it usually has high prices. But if you want quality, this is the place.... besides they have very polite and friendly staff!!
