I have stayed at this campground several times before and enjoy its physical location very much. I would invite someone from leadership to contact me if you are interested in seizing this opportunity for service recovery.
The bathrooms and showers are always spotless and have a freshly cleaned smell.
Have stayed here two times and will be back this week. We travel with our lab Plato and very accommodating! Excellent!!
I made a reservation online, received a confirmation email, and they did not have a spot for me. They did not have record of my reservation in their system. I presented the confirmation email and they agreed their system is not working properly; however, they were not willing to help me secure another location (the attendant simply walked away from me parked in my RV and went back into the office leaving me there to figure it out on my own). The upshot to this experience for me was service recovery and customer satisfaction are not a priority for the staff at the Louisville North Campground.
We stayed there two night and yes on night one the trains were a bit distracting. I'm not sure if I got used to it or if there weren't as many on the second night.
The people were very friendly.
The location is very good and the neighborhood is NOT crummy (as referenced in a prior review).
But the train!!!! We stayed one night while passing through. Staff is excellent, facility is well kept, location is very central. The train was literally a stones throw from our camper. The planes passed over constantly. Looong night!
We did our first trip to Louisville and stayed in the cabin. Reminded me of camp except CLEAN! We had a great time (minus the rain the whole time and two great water parks close)... Everyone was nice! If we ever come back... We are staying again. #GBR
The spots are tight, very tight but the hook ups are all modern and convenient.
