Wow, after reading several posts on here i am so happy I decided not to have the procedures done on my son. 1st I was told in the back by the nurse he had 2 cavities, then up front I was told he had 11 cavities, and needed to be IV sedated and have them fixed. I scheduled the appointment, but felt really uneasy about the idea of my 6 year old being IV sedated, and quickly canceled it. Also, why was I told two different things? My son has 1 cavity. 1, not 11. This is gross misconduct by the dentist, and should not be allowed to continue. I definitely will never go back. And I sincerely hope no one else goes here either.
Not good. My son is 12 never had any cavities and he went here for the first time due to his previous dentist not taking his insurance anymore. I was told he had 5 cavities. When I asked how they determine this she was like unsure of how to answer. She said we stick the explorer in their teeth and if it gets stuck that means there’s a cavity. I never spoke to a dentist. So I took him for a 2nd opinion elsewhere and no cavities. Why would you want to put kids in pain or unnecessary procedures? I will say whomever answers the phones are great and front desk. I didn’t get great vibes from the checkout lady. It was also a madhouse in there with kids running around everywhere. They did offer me another consult the next day when I called to talk because it just didn’t sit well with me. They did email me his X-rays.
My son had a multi-tooth sedation dental procedure which went well. The office environment was great, and the staff was very friendly. Recently one of my son's caps fell out. I was told I could bring my son to the office in 30 minutes. He was in school, and there was no way I could check him out of school and make it in time. I was disappointed that a pediatric dentistry did not have convenient emergency appointments available so that my child will not miss school. I have no choice but to call back everyday to find out if another patient cancelled if I want him seen at a more convenient time after school. I was told I can wait about a month for an afternoon appointment. :-(
At first we loved this office. They were always busy and my son loved going there. They were gentle with him and he loved receiving treasures. Usually there was a long wait for appointments, 30 minutes or so, but it is understandable. The last time we went, we waited over 90 minutes. I asked if we were on the list, and the receptionist said yes ma'am, we are running behind today. Then 20 minutes later they are turning the lights off on us. I asked and we were told that we were not signed in. How are you not signed in after waiting 90 minutes? We went to another practice and are treated like royalty there, not another cattle in a herd
I take all 4 of our kiddos here and the staff is always nice and courtesy Everytime we have came in even the doctor is so nice answered any question I had once we met also have so much for our kids to do while we wait they don't get bored best decision I made choosing them as our dentist they get us in and out fairly fast.
