Pretty decent selection of shoes, too. We'd been looking for kids' high top converse tho, and they didn't have them. Maybe it was just when we went, but it seemed like the size selection wasn't as good as the shoe variety.
Went with my boyfriend and his daughter. They argued over the shoes so he asked a lady who works there (I think the manager), Mary, for her input. She was so very friendly and reinforced his point, while distracting her with a new way to tie her shoes. Even encouraged her to do a cartwheel in the store! I also observed her being super personable with other customers. She's great!
The workers here are incompetent to say the least. I came in to buy 2 pairs of shoes one of which wasn't available in my size in store so they had to order it online to be shipped to my house. While that was going on I asked the girl "helping" me if she was sure it was the correct shoe I was talking about to which she assured me it was and gave me my receipt. After I reviewed the order she placed I realized it was in fact not the shoe I was talking about that she assured me it was, so I brought it to her attention and she tried again. Second time around she got the correct shoe ordered (I hope), but unfortunately she messed up the zip code on my shipping address which I wish I would've been able to catch that mistake too, because now it's going on 2 weeks since I placed the order and my shoes are states away from where they should be and I will not be receiving them in time for the event which they were needed. It's a shame that this was my experience. I've worked in all kinds of retail, including shoe sales with Journeys, and it really is not difficult to place correct orders and send them to the right places, all it takes it a little bit of effort and confirming with the customer that everything is exactly how it should be, I will not be setting foot in this particular store again.
