The issue came into play when we went to get the check for the earnest money that we had willing paid returned to us. I was told the check would be ready at 2:00pm and showed up at 1:58pm. The lady at the desk rolled her eyes and said I would have to wait until 2:00pm. I sat without saying a word and then at exactly 2:00 she picked the check which had been sitting at her desk the whole time up and handed it to me without checking for any verification of who I was... she again rolled her eyes and said "here, you don't have to wait anymore".

Extremely rude for no apparent reason... this company will never have my business and I will be sure to pass this issue along to any friends and family in the housing market. Way to many other good contractors out there willing to do a good job and offer quality customer service to put up with a company like this one... that said I'm extremely happy with my choice to go with a Hawkins Home! Great company, great people, and amazing quality.
Unsure about the quality of the homes this company builds...however their employees and the owner are extremely rude.... my wife and I had planned to purchase a home in the Farmington area built by this company, our offer was accepted with the contingency that we will close when our current home sells. This company put a clause in the agreement that they could ask us to remove the contingency within 48 hours if they got another offer that they wanted to accept.... long story short, they got an offer they wanted and we refused to drop our contingency so they were allowed to go with the other offer. This in itself was understandable and not an issue.
